K. Z. S. Science College, Bramhani-Kalmeshwar was established in August 1992 by Dr. Bhabha Vidnyan Lokshikshan Sanstha, who felt the need of quality higher education in Science. According to proverb “Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya” (From Darkness to light) with the motto “Lead us to the enlightenment from ignorance created by our actions, thought processes and perceptive” our institute is working since 30 years in rural area.
K. Z. S. Science College is permanently affiliated to R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur offering undergraduate courses in Science (B.Sc.) with Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Compulsory English, Marathi subjects. The College is recognized under section 2 (f) and 12 (B) of the UGC act 1956 in 2009. The college has undergone two cycles of NAAC.
The college has highly qualified, dedicated faculty members and sympathetic non- teaching staff members who persistently encourage and inspire students through their work and behavior. The philosophy of the college solely revolves around one base being compassionate to the fellow beings to retain humanity in the society. The college faculty and students inspire each other to engage in quality educational experiences to achieve student’s success. The college has good result tradition with excellence in sports and cultural activities.
Campus spread over an area of 4.52 acres with ample facilities like superior infrastructure with well-equipped and spacious laboratories, ICT enabled classrooms with Wi-Fi amenities, Central Library, Conference hall, Girls Hostel, Massive playground with ample sports facilities, gymnasium, indoor stadium and CCTV surveillance.
